INGREDIENTS:
- 120 gr. fresh yeast
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of water
- 500 gr. all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
- Absorbent paper
METHOD:
Dissolve yeast with the milk in a bowl. Add 1.5 cup of flour and let double in volume. Add the rest of the flour, the salt and the water to get a runny mix. Let for 3-8 hours. When bubbles appear it’s ready to fry.
In a deep pan pour 10 cm of oil. When hot, drop small spoonfuls, dipping the spoon in cold water each time, and fry until golden.
Place on absorbent paper, keep warm, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and serve!
